Until 18th of August you still have the chance to convert your old Schillings to Euros aboard the Eurobus which is stationed in Salzburg until 18th of August 2012.
As well as exchanging your money you also have the opportunity to learn more about the Euro and its advantages.
The tour will give Austrians a chance to exchange the old national currency, the schilling, for Euros at the official exchange rate of 13.7603 schillings to the Euro as well as providing information about the Euro.
It is estimated that even now eleven years after the Euro was introduced there are still nine billion Schillings in circulation.
People have become sceptical of the Euro due to growing state debt in some Euro countries and the expensive EU bailouts.
The Austrian National Bank is therefore touring informing about the advantages of the single currency in Europe.
Claudia Fuchs from the Austrian National Bank said: "We are making a tour with five different stops. We are informing about price stability, advantages of the Euro, economic growth, increase in number of jobs since the introduction of the Euro.
On Friday the bus is heading off to Bischofshofen followed by Seekirchen on Saturday.
The Euro Bus organisers also inform people about the Euro notes’ security features when they regularly tour Austria.
