Dutch skier dies on Salzburg slope
A Dutch skier has died after collapsing on the piste during a skiing holiday in Flachau in the Pongau region of Salzburg.
The 67-year-old man collapsed. Emergency teams were called, but were unable to save the man.
The man is the fourth person to die on Salzburg's slopes in the past two weeks.
The Austrian mountain rescue confirmed that they were regularly called to help people with heart and circulation problems.
They advise people both locals and tourists to not attempt skiing with no training and when they are out of condition.
They advise people take part in exercise and get fit in preparation for the skiing trips.

Birth balance negative once again
The birth balance of 2012 has been negative for the first time in three years. This was due to an increase in deaths. Another trend is that women give birth to their first child when they are older.
