Romantic gothic rock stars HIM are the latest act confirmed to perform at this year’s Donauinselfest.
The Finnish five-member band will co-headline the event alongside former Supertramp mastermind Roger Hodgson, rock legend Billy Idol and American singer Adam Green.
Britishrock.cc reports that Kim Wilde, Right Said Fred, Amy Macdonald and Aura Dione will also perform at the three-day festival taking place at Vienna’s Donauinsel recreation area from 25 June.
Around three million people are expected to turn up at the free open air event organised by the Vienna Social Democrats (SPÖ) which first took place in 1983.
The video shows HIM’s song "In Joy and Sorrow" which peaked at number two in the Finnish Singles Chart in 2001.

A raid in the second largest Austrian dairy NÖM, which started on 15 May, was terminated yesterday (Thur) afternoon. Employees of the Federal Competition Authority (BWB) are still in the headquarters in Baden.
